Foreign Policy With a Spine: Trump Tells the U.N. and the Islamofascist Nation-States Where to Get Off Over Jerusalem Vote

The U.N. tools must be in a real state of shock. They got used to Barky’s bowing and ass kissing.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to cut off financial aid to countries that vote in favor of a draft United Nations resolution calling for the United States to withdraw its decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

The 193-member U.N. General Assembly will hold a rare emergency special session on Thursday – at the request of Arab and Muslim countries – to vote on a draft resolution, which the United States vetoed on Monday in the 15-member U.N. Security Council.

….U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, in a letter to dozens of U.N. states on Tuesday seen by Reuters, warned that Trump had asked her to “report back on those countries who voted against us.”

She bluntly echoed that call in a Twitter post: “The U.S. will be taking names.”

……According to figures from the U.S. government’s aid agency USAID, in 2016 the United States provided some $13 billion in economic and military assistance to countries in sub-Saharan Africa and $1.6 billion to states in East Asia and Oceania.

It provided some $13 billion to countries in the Middle East and North Africa, $6.7 billion to countries in South and Central Asia, $1.5 billion to states in Europe and Eurasia and $2.2 billion to Western Hemisphere countries, according to USAID.

We could definitely keep that money and put it to better use helping homeless and disabled veterans.

Kick the U.N. out of the United States.  For years it’s served as a lobbyist and mouthpiece for communist regimes, Islamofascist nation-states, and global socialism.  It’s a taxpayer-funded forum for despots. Get rid of it.

Trump Foreign Policy Support of Israel: Real Leadership vs Obama’s Flaccid Kowtowing

What a contrast to Obama’s 8-year string of apology tours, execrable treatment of allies, pandering to enemies, and habit of ingratiating himself before the U.N.

President Trump took the bold stance of officially recognizing Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel.  Immediately, muzzie and liberal heads exploded.

Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., brought down the hammer in no uncertain terms:

Trump Formally Recognizes Jerusalem as Capitol of Israel, Will Move U.S. Embassy There

The Dems and their media tools were for recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel before Trump actually did it. Now they have to figure out a way to spin this into a negative.

Via Fox News

President Trump on Wednesday formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, saying it’s time to “acknowledge the obvious” as he ordered the State Department to begin moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” the president said during a speech in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House.

The move fulfills a campaign promise made to religious conservatives. But it could also inflame tensions across the Middle East.

“This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality,” Trump said. “It is also the right thing to do. It’s something that has to be done.”

……“This will immediately begin the process of hiring architects, engineers and planners so that a new embassy when completed will be a magnificent tribute to peace,” Trump said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a televised message, thanked Trump for what he called a “courageous and just” decision.

……“This decision reflects the president’s commitment to an ancient but enduring truth,” Netanyahu said. “The president’s decision is an important step toward peace, for there is no peace that doesn’t include Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

More:

President Trump’s declaration Wednesday that the United States formally recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city is an acknowledgement of historical fact and current reality.

As Israel’s closest ally, as the principal facilitator of Arab-Israeli peacemaking, and as the pre-eminent global leader, the U.S. initiative in taking this step is of critical significance. The president has acted wisely.

Bold actions can prompt new thinking and stimulate initiatives to advance peace. Forty years ago last month, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat flew to Israel. He became the first Arab head of state to visit and he addressed the Knesset (parliament) in Israel’s capital of Jerusalem, even before formal peace negotiations began.

Recognition of the city that Israel has always deemed its capital is long overdue. The prime minister’s office, the Knesset, and nearly all Israeli government offices have been situated in Jerusalem since Israel declared its independence nearly 70 years ago.

……In fact, there was a time when 16 countries maintained their embassies in Jerusalem. Succumbing to Arab pressures, however, they relocated their embassies to Tel Aviv, where the U.S. and other countries have long kept their embassies.

This perpetuates a nonsensical abnormality. No other country in the world has been treated this way, neither in bilateral relations nor at the United Nations and other multilateral forums.

More:

This freak-out came despite the fact that Congress overwhelmingly passed bipartisan legislation in 1995 stating that “the United States Embassy in Israel should be established in Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999.” And in June this year the Senate voted  90-0 to approve a resolution stating that “Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel.”

On top of that, candidate Trump promised many times during his presidential campaign that he would do exactly what he announced Wednesday.

Finally, after eight years of Barky’s despicable treatment of Israel, we have a President that recognizes the importance of maintaining relations with America’s only democratic ally in the Middle East.

Epic Speech: Son of Hamas Shames the Corrupt Palestinian Elite at the U.N.

Palestinian Mosab Hassan Yousef raked the PLO over the coals with a stinging rebuke at the U.N.  He got in his two cents after the parade of perfunctory anti-Israel bullshit. (at 1:00 into the video)

Statement by United Nations Watch
36th Session of the U.N. Human Rights Council
Delivered by Mosab Hassan Yousef

Thank you, Mr. President.

I take the floor on behalf of UN Watch.

My name is Mosab Hassan Yousef. I grew up in Ramallah as a member of Hamas.

I address my words to the Palestinian Authority, which claims to be the “sole legitimate representative” of the Palestinian people.

I ask: where does your legitimacy come from?

The Palestinian people did not elect you, and they did not appoint you to represent them.

You are self-appointed.

Your accountability is not to your own people. This is evidenced by your total violation of their human rights.

In fact, the Palestinian individual and their human development is the least of your concerns.

You kidnap Palestinian students from campus and torture them in your jails. You torture your political rivals. The suffering of the Palestinian people is the outcome of your selfish political interests. You are the greatest enemy of the Palestinian people.

If Israel did not exist, you would have no one to blame. Take responsibility for the outcome of your own actions.

You fan the flames of conflict to maintain your abusive power.

Finally, you use this platform to mislead the international community, and to mislead Palestinian society, to believe that Israel is responsible for the problems you create.

Thank you.

Trump Strengthens Ties to America’s Only Ally in the Middle East

Finally, after eight years of Barky’s despicable treatment of Israel, we have a President that recognizes the importance of maintaining relations with America’s only democratic ally in the Middle East.

Trump met with Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Wednesday, and reaffirmed America’s alliance.

From Yahoo

President Donald Trump hailed the United States’ “unbreakable” bond with Israel on Wednesday and promised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Iran would never be permitted to build a nuclear weapon.

Trump’s vow was designed to address Israeli concerns over the nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers, which Netanyahu has warned expires too soon to permanently remove the threat.

“With this visit the United States, again, reaffirms our unbreakable bond with our cherished ally, Israel,” Trump said.

From One America News

In the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders since Trump’s victory in the 2016 election, the Republican president backed away from a U.S. embrace of the eventual creation of a Palestinian state, upending a position taken by successive administrations and the international community.

“I’m looking at two states and one state, and I like the one both parties like,” Trump told a joint news conference with Netanyahu. “I can live with either one.”

Trump should also ensure that terrorist groups like the PLO stops getting any funding from the United States.
