75th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor

Never forget.

From Fox News.

Seventy-five years after Japanese warplanes bombed Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s prediction that the day will not be forgotten is as true as ever. The attack on the Hawaiian naval base left 2,403 dead, 1,178 wounded and four battleships sunk, and prompted America’s entry into World War II. Roosevelt’s famous declaration came the next day in an address to lawmakers, while another quote about the attack, from Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, proved equally true: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
