Dear Liberals: Get a Load of Alton Sterling’s Criminal Record

Hat Tip to Clash Daily.

This is a compilation of the criminal career of a man who was shot by Louisiana police after an altercation escalated out of control.

Police were called after Sterling had been threatening a homeless man with a firearm for asking him if he had any spare change. The homeless man had made the 911 call. After police arrived, Sterling had resisted arrest, and appeared to make a grab for his firearm at one point.

This is still disputable, however. In the video footage of the shooting, you can hear the officer shout “He’s got a gun!” and “if you f—king move, I swear to God.” One of the officers then says something unintelligible, and two shots are fired.

So who is Alton Sterling? For starters, liberals should know he possessed an illegal firearm. As a felon with a lengthy rap sheet, Sterling is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Police records show Sterling had been a member of the Bloods gang, and had a list of offenses including battery, assault, drugs and weapons charges, and owed $25,000 in child support.

He was also a registered pedophile, having impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 20. The media, by contrast, has portrayed him as a loving father of five.

Here is a selection of his prior charges. You can also review his court documents here.

In addition, Sterling also had outstanding warrants for gun running.

A thug, pedophile, sexual predator, and abuser.  Glad he’s out of the gene pool.

    MJ Bennet:
Does the concept of violent criminal reputation make sense to you? Sterling was a thug and a one-man crime wave. He’s out of the gene pool, and I won’t lose sleep over it either.

How are his past bad acts relevant? The police did not know that at the time of the shooting – correct? I hope you agree that whether or not police use deadly force should be based ONLY on whether or not the person’s action at that time poses a significant threat of death or serious bodily harm to the officer or others.
