RINOs Cave to Obama’s DHS Funding With no Illegal Alien Strings Attached

From Fox News.

The House voted Tuesday to fund the Homeland Security Department through the end of the budget year, ending a protracted standoff that centered on objections to Obama’s controversial immigration actions.

The House voted 257-167 for the legislation, sending it to Obama’s desk. The final legislation includes no immigration provisions, and was carried over the finish line with mostly Democratic votes.

“On behalf of the approximately 225,000 men and women of the Department of Homeland Security, we thank those in Congress — Democrats and Republicans — who voted for this bill and, in particular, those in Congress who showed the leadership necessary to get the job done,” DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

On behalf of the citizens of the United States of America, go fuck yourself Johnson. The DHS is about as useful as tits on a bull. There are numerous muzzie terrorist organizations thriving in this country but they’re as exempt from scrutiny, arrest, and deportation as the illegals.

The DHS  is more concerned with patriotic Americans who are fed up with an increasingly hostile, out-of-control, big government apparatus, than it is the real threat from the Islamic extremists who thrive unfettered inside our borders.

The result is a victory for the Obama administration. Republicans had tried to use the DHS funding bill as the vehicle to reverse Obama’s immigration executive actions. But Democrats repeatedly blocked the move, insisting they pass the spending bill with no riders attached.

The result is a repeated assault on our laws. Of course they blocked it. Because they know any rider will block their amnesty.

House Speaker John Boehner, faced with diminishing options, earlier in the day told fellow Republican lawmakers he would drop the immigration demands.

“I am as outraged and frustrated as you at the lawless and unconstitutional actions of this president,” Boehner told his caucus on Tuesday morning, according to a source.

If you were as outraged and frustrated as us, you would have impeached and prosecuted the mutherfucker already. But you don’t have the balls.

But he said he believed the decision to vote on a “clean” bill, “considering where we are — is the right one for this team, and the right one for this country.”

The right thing for the country would be a lengthy prison sentence for the bulk of Obama’s regime.

Boehner’s move could lead to a backlash in the party, especially since House GOP leaders repeatedly denied claims that he struck a deal with Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi last week to hold such a vote.

“This is the signal of capitulation,” said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, earlier. “The mood of this thing is such that to bring it back from the abyss is very difficult.”

But other Republicans welcomed Boehner’s decision.

“Sanity is prevailing. I do give John Boehner credit,” said Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y.

So, when do RINOs like King plan to put together a clean anti-amnesty bill, demand that the laws be enforced, and fight Obama’s unconstitutional, unlawful actions tooth and nail?

Boehner, according to sources, told his rank-and-file members that the only other options would be to allow DHS to undergo a partial shutdown, which he urged against considering the “active terror threats;” or to take up another stopgap funding bill, which he told lawmakers probably would not pass. Boehner blamed the impasse on Senate Democrats.

The active terror threats in America continue unabated in spite of the DHS. As a matter of fact, Obama and his State Department usually have them over to the White House for tea and felafels.  So much for the fucking DHS.

Richard Manning, president of Americans for Limited Government, sums it up:

We were never going to win in Congress.”

That is the epitaph spoken by Speaker Boehner ally Representative Tom Cole on the collapse of House Leadership’s resolve to legislatively fight Executive Amnesty.

It may also be the final nail in the coffin for the notion of co-equal branches of government, as President Obama has already announced that he is considering using unilateral executive actions to ban ammunition and raise corporate taxes, on top of his massive Internet regulation announced last week.

That right there should be the final nail in the coffin of Boehner’s tenure.

Congress’ retreat into obscurity under Republican leadership has been rapid and pronounced, and the cave in on Executive Amnesty was inevitable the moment Republican leaders declared that any kind of government shutdown was unacceptable.  Everything since then has been merely delaying the inevitable.

One of the great ironies is that in the same article that Tom Cole provided consolation that one federal court judge had stopped Executive Amnesty as unconstitutional.  What Cole didn’t mention is that the Obama administration is arguing that the federal courts should not intervene because Congress is failing to use the power of the purse to defund the action.

……But we can learn something from Cole’s admission that they “never were going to win in Congress,” as it shows the callow nature of the Republican political animal.  Politicians who ran ad after ad hammering Obama’s unlawful Executive Amnesty prior to the election in a hope to gain or increase their political majority, never had any expectation that America’s vote in November actually mattered.

In fact, they had no intention of doing what they knew was necessary to win the issue.

During the lame duck session in November, the current leaders of Congress chose to carve out the battleground for the Executive Amnesty fight for late February with the focus upon Department of Homeland Security funding.

They did so over the objections of opponents to funding Executive Amnesty who urged a short-term funding bill for the entire government, to provide more leverage against the president in the fight.

Now, we know that Republican leadership never had a plan or even a desire to win.

We voted in a GOP majority to stop Obama and the DemProgs in their tracks. They turned out to be chickenshits unwilling to take the risks necessary to accomplish that.

We also know that Senator Harry Reid still runs the Senate and Congress as a whole, with the minority imposing their will on the majority in an unprecedented manner.

Treat Filthy Harry like a piece of exercise equipment and he’ll quit being such a dick.

……First off, House and Senate Republicans who still care about the country, should throw off the illusion that they are in the majority, and start fighting like they are a minority caucus. This means using every means at their disposal to thwart Obama’s agenda and nominees.

This means derailing the Speaker and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s efforts to give Obama fast track trade authority and preventing him from writing the rules for the world’s economy.

It means ending the Attorney General hopes of Loretta Lynch, who has made it clear that she will continue to use the Department of Justice as the legal henchmen for Obama’s destruction of the rule of law.

And it means taking down every rule that Speaker Boehner tries to put on the floor denying him the majority he needs to lead the House, and grinding the place to a standstill.

Cole’s big reveal that the entire anti-Executive Amnesty play in the House was nothing more than theatrics led by a leadership team that not only never had any strategy for victory, but through their actions showed that they never even wanted to win is such a breach of trust that there is no longer any reason to blindly allow them to set the floor agenda.

Unless drastic actions are taken, Cole has admitted that we are in Obama’s post-Constitutional world, where Congress has no real power.

After winning on the Executive Amnesty issue, there is no reason for Obama to not instruct the IRS to raise corporate tax rates. After all, who is going to stop him?

And as little banty roosters like Senator Lindsey Graham flap their arms and claim they have the votes to stop any Obama nuclear deal with Iran, it doesn’t matter, because Obama won’t follow the law anyway.  He already knows that Congress won’t stop him.

March 3, 2015, a day which will live in infamy.

Amazing how the Dems seemed to ram through every destructive, unconstitutional piece of garbage Obama concocted whenever they were in the majority, but a GOP majority can’t seem to extract its head from its ass long enough to fight this shit.

The next two years will be even worse than the last six.
