The Telegraph published an OpEd piece that reflects the disenchantment with Obamessiah. His approval ratings have plummeted to 41%, and according to the polls, only 28% of his bots “would definitely vote for him” in 2012.

Here’s the money quote in the article:

“…the Obama presidency is looking remarkably out of its depth in the face of a massive deficit crisis which it simply refuses to confront… Barack Obama remains wedded to outdated Big Government, high tax solutions to economic problems, but the American people are clearly not impressed.”

‘Out of his depth’? How can that be? Isn’t he supposed to be the ‘smartest guy in the room’? Obamessiah was The Chosen One. The One We’ve Been Waiting For. The “world’s president”.

Mr. Hopey-Changey was supposed to ‘fundamentally transform’ the U.S. from an heretofore ‘Boosh dictatorship’, to a Shangrila filled with unicorns and skittles. He was gonna pay off their mortgage, buy their gas, and spring for their next bottle of Hennessy.

Socialism doesn’t work. It’s diametrically opposed to every founding principle of our Democratic Republic. It oppresses basic freedoms, stifles entrepreneurship, and forces entire populations into shared government-imposed misery. No one can be more successful than others because it would disrupt the concept of “wealth redistribution”. In other words, take from those who earn and give to those who don’t.

Obama’s failed policies are equally shared by his Dem pals and his czars.

The Dems took advantage of his White House occupancy, combined with their control of both houses of Congress, and proceeded to engage in an unprecedented big government power grab. They spent the first 22 months of their monopoly using taxpayer money to fund their socialist pet projects, including ObamaCare.

One of the reasons gas prices are so high (besides speculators) is Obama’s refusal to drill for our own oil resources and vilifying the petroleum companies as ”big, evil, greedy creatures destroying the planet”. But by gawd, he’ll loan Brazil $2 Billion to drill their own.

His cabinet is stuffed with Marxists and Islamists that harbor a visceral hatred of America and capitalism. Obama’s “science czar” wants to “de-develop” the United States into a Banana Republic. His regulatory czar wants to limit free speech and individual liberty. His “manufacturing czar” thinks that “the free market is nonsense ” and “agrees with Mao, that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun”. The Assistant secretary for the Office of Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security, is a muslim extremist who was instrumental in removing the plan to track Muslim terrorists in LA. A member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council is also a muslim extremist who calls Islamic jihadists “heroes” and opposed referring to Hamas as a terrorist organization.

They want to systematically destroy this country because the thought of American exceptionalism is abhorrent to their radical sensibilities.

One year into Obama’s tenure, the MSM started having doubts about his capabilities.

The media hacks propped up this immature, inexperienced, socialist “community organizer” as if he were the Second Coming of Christ. They can pat themselves on the back for helping to foist this useless waste of skin into office.

Anyone who studied Obama’s personality, Marxist philosophy, and background would have understood that he is totally unfit to lead a Democratic Republic.

Obama fails to understand the consequences of his “fundamental transformation”. He’s so out of his depth, he’s still in the basement looking for the elevator to the first floor.

I never doubted your ability to defend yourself, only questioned your decision to not do so. Are we not in a war of ideas with the likes of Glenn Contrarian? In a war, when the enemy attacks, you don’t sit back and enjoy it as “entertainment.” You fight back, hard as you can.

And as for BC’s editors, they’ve already censored your title to “Obama: ‘The American People Will Feel That I Deserve a Second Term…’” and your opening line in “Obama ‘Remarkably Out of His Depth’.” For you to assume they won’t continue down this censorial path to its ultimate destination–banning you outright from BC exactly the way they recently banned me, Ruvy and Irv Cohen–well, that’s just plain naive. Trust me, I’m far from being “too weak” to defend myself. You ought to see some of the knock-down, drag-out arguements I’ve had with some of the leftwing moonbats on this site.

As you can see, I have no problem getting down and dirty in a debate. The problem is, I can’t do that on blogcritics without having my response removed by the editors. For instance, I told “Glenn the Contrarian” that his proctologist found his head. The editors deleted the comment. I got a laugh out of that.

As for the leftwing turds “pressuring” blogcritics to stop posting my articles:
1. I’m not concerned
2. I doubt very much that will happen

Silence, in a case like this, does not equal “patsy”. It simply means that the more they make asses out of themselves, the more I enjoy it.

It may be more “entertaining” for you, but you create the impression of being too weak to defend yourself. I know that’s not true, yet given that most commenters are, as I pointed out, too lazy to read your personal history, they’ll smugly conclude that they’ve cowed you into submission with their superior rhetorical skills. Moreover, they’re already pressuring BC’s editors to stop posting your articles. Your silence in the commentary threads, seemingly like a willing patsy, would only encourage such a wrongheaded decision by Dave Nalle.

I’ve only bothered to respond on one thread. After witnessing the stupidity of the leftwingnuts’ comments, I decided not to respond any further, choosing instead to simply post my articles and watch their meltdown. It’s much more entertaining that way.

Do you see how lazy those commenters are at Blogcritics? They don’t even bother to check out your “about me” page here to determine your gender. They repeatedly refer to you as “he/she” or “he” as if there were some mystery. Anyhow, I’m glad you keep posting articles there because yours is a singular and sorely needed voice of courage on that pusillanimous site. Meanwhile, Irvin F.
